Zoo visit

Last thursday, Yi-Luen and I visited Mali the baby elephant at Melbourne Zoo. However, Mali and her mum chose to show their backsides to us. The little tail just swished left-right, to the rhythm of the marching tune. She was a sight to behold. We regretted that we didn't make it to the zoo earlier as Mali has grown, over a couple of months. She puts on 1 kg per day.

Another delight is the tiger cub, 3 of them. Their playful nature was so captivating.

I am awaiting the birth of another elephant in August. It is amazing, just observing the baby's movement inside the mother-to-be. I will be visiting early next time, to capture this new born on my camera.
